What is Dental account

A dental account is a smart solution for those who want to pay for their dental treatment in installments. You don't have to pay for your dental treatment straight away and you won't receive an invoice until the following month. You can then choose to pay the invoice in full or split the payment.

Pay all or a little at a time

With a dental account, you will receive your invoice in the middle of the month following your visit to the dentist, with payment due on the last day of that month. In other words, you have 30 to 60 days from your visit to the dentist until the invoice is due. On the invoice you will see your payment options, where you can pay all at once or split the payment.

How does it work?

Dental account offers financing of dental treatment. Regardless of your dental treatment, you will have the option of flexible payment. This means that you can choose to split the invoice as you see fit. You have many options to choose from, including being able to split the invoice over 12 months completely interest-free.

How your dental account works

  • You must be at least 18 years old, be registered in Norway, have permanent employment and be free of payment remarks.

    Students can apply for a Student Account

  • The invoice will arrive the month after your dental visit. Choose the payment option that suits you best, the invoice must be paid by the last banking day of the same month.

    Example: You go to the dentist on June 3 and enter the payment in your Dental account. Then the invoice arrives in mid-July and must be paid by the end of July.

    Have you booked several dental appointments? Then you can choose to place all payments on your Dental Account and they will all be collected on the same invoice.

  • If you want to split the payment, you can choose between 1 to 12 months interest-free or up to 54 months with interest. You decide how you want to pay when you receive your invoice the month after your treatment.

  • Yes, with Tannkonto you can pay for your dental visit using an invoice and you have the option to split the payment over a longer period.

    If you pay everything on the first invoice, the set-up fee of NOK 490 will not be added.
